Welcome to Intro To Yoga!

I can’t wait to dive into basic and foundational asanas with you to grow your practice from the ground up.

Before we dive in, here’s a few things on how it works…

Each day, you’ll find three things: the daily posture, a class, and a check-in.

The Daily Posture

The daily posture is a part of the public Instagram portion. The daily posture is also meant to help you finesse and go in-depth on common foundational postures.

To participate on Instagram during the live challenge dates, follow these steps:

  1. Check out each day’s daily posture listed under each day of the challenge (Kiana will also post a copy of it to her Instagram page, @kiana_ng).
  2. Take a photo or video of yourself practicing it and post it to your Instagram account.
  3. In your daily post, be sure to tag @kiana_ng and @bodytosoulmovement and use the hashtag #KianasIntroToYoga so that your posts join the rest of the community participating!
  4. Optionally, comment on and engage with the rest of the community’s posts.

The daily posture is free for everyone to access through Instagram.

The Classes

Each day will have a different theme. You’ll receive a 15-30 minute practice for you to do that relates to the daily posture and theme, except for the last day of the challenge which will be a live 60-minute practice. If you can’t make the live class, a recording will be available too.

Make sure to mark your calendar for Wednesday, February 24th 1-2pm EST. Pre-registration is required for this class. To register, visit day 10 of the challenge.

The classes are only available for paying challenge members.

The Check-In

The daily check-in is here for you to reflect on your experience as you move through the challenge, and also to help see your progress! Make sure you fill these out at the end of every day.
